Four years ago I was hurled into an event that inspired me to create a platform for addressing our relationship to death and dying.
Because I found myself out of my comfort zone without any knowledge of how to be present with the journey of dying. Fear of death is one of our greatest causes of suffering and, on the path of yoga, our intention is to alleviate suffering. If we avoid the subject or expect to skip it all together, we cause more suffering to those around us. And although I wasn’t feeling fear, I was not feeling prepared.
It’s time to open the conversation that will help us develop practices and apply practical tools that prepare us for the end of life – our own and our loved ones.
