Bethany story on courage and calm.
“Yoga has given me the courage to act on my own inner wisdom. I will practice yoga for the rest of my life. It is an endless study that will only benefit my underlying divine essence. I plan on learning as much as I can in the time that I have.”
– Bethany Stull, LETT 2014
It is difficult to describe how the many intimate facets of Yoga have affected my life — a lot of which I probably haven’t even discovered yet. The first major change I have seen in myself since beginning the Life Enrichment course is that I have learned to respond rather than react. I have discovered an inadvertent difference in the way I handle conflicts in everyday life. Whether it be an internal struggle or an open conflict, I seem to be resolving my problems in a much calmer manner than I have in the past.
Recognizing the existence of my chakras has been one of the more significant tools that yoga has given me. I have gained a new insight into learning how to take care of my energy body as well as my psycho-emotional body. In the past I have neglected my inner-self because I had no knowledge of how to nurture it. Integrating the chakras into my practice and my lifestyle has improved my overall happiness and lifestyle.
My greatest challenge has been remembering to bring my yoga with me through all walks of life. This world holds many distractions and we can very easily lose sight of our inner guidance. In my efforts I have seen myself grow more and more each day into the woman I want to be. I am the best version of myself, and headed toward the life I have imagined. A faith in my inner guidance has grown immensely. Yoga has rewarded me with bliss.
Since the beginning of my yoga journey I have grown to know myself better. I am learning to take care of my needs, both old and new. It has changed how I interact with others. I am letting my love and my best traits shine forth. Yoga has given me the courage to act on my own inner wisdom. I will practice yoga for the rest of my life. It is an endless study that will only benefit my underlying divine essence. I plan on learning as much as I can in the time that I have.
