YogaMotion Basic Training consists of 6 different Modules focused on practical and transformative yoga studies. Both the Weekend Training and Immersion Course offer the same modular curriculum. We have found that these two options meet the needs of our students in different ways. Feel free to call and talk with our Training Coordinators if you need help in choosing the track that best fits your lifestyle.
MODULAR TRAINING
Allow yourself an extended course curriculum by attending six four-day "weekend" Modules. This track allows you to absorb and integrate the information gained through practice, workshops, lectures, student teaching, personal study and the yoga lifestyle. Each 30-hour module is supported with an 20-hour home study packet to integrate what you have learned into your own authentic understanding. The completion of Modules 1 - 6 will fulfill your 280 hour YogaMotion Certification and 200 hour Yoga Alliance requirements. This course works well for those that prefer more study time and may be more convenient to your lifestyle.
ONE MONTH IMMERSION
Immerse yourself in the study and practice of yoga through a combination of workshops, lectures, student teaching, personal study and the yogic lifestyle within 30-day training. Included in the Immersion course is the material of Modules 1 - 6, each totaling 30 classroom hours along with a total of 20 personal study hours. The 6 modules are offered back to back with one day off between them. Completing the Immersion course will fulfill your 200 hour YogaMotion Certification and Yoga Alliance requirements. This track is recommended for those that prefer to place themselves in an exclusive setting for in-depth study and complete their training within one month's time. Individual Modules may be attended within the Immersion dates for those on the Weekend track.
" . . . much more than I expected. I began the course as an in-depth study and am leaving as a beginning teacher.
The course was very enlightening not only because of the detailed information and course work but the all encompassing pathway and lifestyle that I have integrated into my own. Confidence, heightened awareness of self, and the ability to relax and enjoy the moment are a few of the many benefits I experienced. The course work was challenging and well organized. I'm excited to share what I have learned with others."
