What are the criteria for being accepted?
Open heart, open mind and commitment to do the work required for the 9-month program. Many students enroll after having been out of school for many years and having forgotten what it’s like to study and be a student again. It takes time and dedication. Prepare for both and you will reap the benefits.
How will I find out if I have been accepted?

What prior experience or level of practice is required for admission?
Being a foundational course everyone starts with beginner’s mind.
I am already teaching yoga, but am not certified. Would this course be beneficial?
YES! Not only does it give you credibility and a solid foundation upon which to build your profession, more and more studios are requiring it.
What style of yoga is taught?
YogaMotion is an eclectic blend drawn from the Krishnamacharya lineage focusing on functional alignment, energetic flow, mindful meditation and individualized attention.

Who accredits the YogaMotion program?
YogaMotion is recognized by Yoga Alliance as a Nationally Registered School.
What is the average class size and age of participants?
Class size ranges from 12 – 24 students and ages range from 15 up to 75 years young.

What is the daily routine?
Generally we start with a yoga practice then move into lecture. After lunch may be breathwork, lecture or a visiting instructor followed by a yoga practice. There is a 90-minute lunch break and at least one morning and afternoon break.
How much time will I need to study outside of the scheduled program hours?
Count on an hour a day of home study and personal practice. Some choose to apply themselves more. Time management is part of your learning process.
What if I miss a class?
It is required that you attend every hour of the training to attain certification. Make-ups can be done by special arrangement and will incur an additional fee. A make-up weekend is scheduled in April for those attending the Modular course.
Are books and materials included?

Please bring your own yoga mat. Props – blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps – are available at the studio, however, you are welcome to bring your own.
Are there additional costs?
Books, food and lodging are not included in the enrollment fee.

Is this course eligible for GI bill benefits?
Yes, this course has been approved by the Montana State Approving Agency for benefits under the GI Bill program for eligible veterans and beneficiaries.
Do you offer scholarships or work-exchange programs?
Yes, we offer one Scholarship/Work Exchange per training for those who are in financial need. Please contact us to apply.
